Annie’s Wheaton Bread Recipe
AICS member Annie Doherty was kind enough to put her wheaton bread recipe together for us so that everyone can make some yummy Irish bread this St. Patrick’s Day! We posted it on our Facebook page, but in case you missed it…
A Note from Annie:
“I often make two at a time, then freeze one (or gift one). If you decide to make two, have everything mixed and ready in two bowls except for adding the buttermilk. Then add the buttermilk to each and prepare/shape them quickly. Once you add the buttermilk, the chemical reaction with the soda starts immediately.”
