March 2023 was wonderful!
Our in-person St. Patrick’s Celebration was back in-person for March 2023! We had to cancel our 2020, 2021, and 2022 in-person celebrations due to the pandemic (though we did run virtual celebrations in 2021 and 2022!), but our beloved family-friendly celebration returned for the afternoon and evening of March 17th, 2023. Turn out was wonderful, with hundreds of people joining us! Entertainment was top notch, and our volunteers went above and beyond! Children’s Activities
The entertainment at our event took place in a large ballroom, but we also had a separate room off the ballroom for children in case little ones need a quiet area to decompress or do some children’s activities. There were many fun activities: face-painting, Irish coloring pages, legos, Irish story time, and chances to learn about Irish music and dancing! The “Instrument Petting Zoo” brought to you by our local MÓD Branch of CCE was also a huge hit with the kids, thank you, MÓD!
Food & Drink
Food and drink are not included in admission prices, but were available for separate purchase at the event. We had Guinness Irish stew and a vegetarian option ($15), hot corned beef sandwiches ($15), hot dogs on a bun ($7), and a few ham and turkey sandwiches ($13). There was wine and beer for $5. Beer was Guinness, Harp and Smithwicks. Also available for sale were non alcoholic beer, Irish Creme, sodas, cookies, water, and chips. Complimentary tea and coffee.
